Winter Flying

A few photos from DEC, JAN and the early part of FEB

ERJ cockpit, ORD
My nest
An empty ERJ-145 cabin. After riding home in the CRJ-200 (which is also a 50 seat cabin) the last couple weeks I think I've decided that the ERJ is a more comfortable set up, especially if you get the single, A, seat.
Wind up toy
Nice morning sky leaving GSP

Somewhere over central Mexico
Flyby, I think in Kansas somewhere
Dallas lights
Really neat aircraft viewing area at north DFW that views the west side runways and terminals. A rotating beacon, bronze sculptures and a loud speaker blaring tower communications complete the experience.
ERJ departing DFW
Deice in Des Moines
Nice evening sky in Florida
Under an anvil head on the way to Mexico
Cool clouds
Mountains poking through the clouds near Monterrey, Mexico
North of Monterrey, Mexico
Ridgy terrain near  Monterrey, Mexico
Near  Monterrey, Mexico
Every ridge was tipped with gray to brown limestone. Miles and miles of rock.
Potrero Chico, a well known limestone climbing mecca,  is in there somewhere.
The yummy hotel breakfast in Leon, Mexico. Refritos es muy delicioso!
More limestone near  Monterrey, Mexico
Leaving Veracruz, Mexico
Near Chihuahua
Parking at D terminal, DFW
Blizzard conditions in Grand Island, Nebraska. We eventually left several hours later after a bottle start. Our APU intake was filled with snow that had blown in, clogging it.
Nasty in GRI, it snowed about 8" overnight
Overnight at Aquascalientes
Central Mexico morning
Hazy sunrise north of Aguascalientes
