During a phase of my pilot training, just before the commercial checkrides, another student, Charles "Parker" Simpson and I got fly all over the Eastern US for 8 days straight (8/7/10-8/15/10). It was amazing and one of the best parts of the program. We Flew from LZU to RDU, RDU to LZU, LZU to DAB, DAB to CRG, CRG to DAB, DAB to DHN, DHN to MLU, MLU to GKY, GKY to MLU, MLU to LZU, LZU to RIC, RIC to ISP, ISP to RIC, RIC to JQF, JQF to LZU, LZU to GWO, GWO to GKY, GKY to NQA, NQA to BWG, BWG to TYS, TWS to LZU. Wheh! Parker and I had a blast. We flew through some amazing weather and gained some valuable experience while we built the time needed to meet the experience requirements for the commercial license. Both of us are nearly done with the career pilot program now and are certified flight instructors. Thanks to Parker for bringing his camera along during this trip. Enjoy the pics.
